A Zirze Flare is a private, end-to-end encrypted post sent to selected mutual followers with an expiration time chosen by the sender. Flares are useful when you want to ask, show, or share something with a few trusted connections without publishing it to your public Social feed.
How does a Zirze Flare work?
- Choose one or more people who follow you back.
- Add private text or supported media.
- Select when the Flare should expire.
- Send encrypted content only to the selected recipients.
When should you use a Flare?
Use a Flare for a quick opinion, a temporary update, or a moment intended for specific people. Use a Social post when you want broader public visibility, and use Chat when you want an ongoing private conversation.
What does expiration mean?
A Flare becomes unavailable after its selected expiration and is removed according to Zirze’s expiration process. Recipients can still see content while it is active, so temporary sharing should not be treated as a guarantee that a recipient cannot copy what they see.
